Nutcrackers & Snowflakes

Wednesday was a day full of adventures. We started the day by heading to Seattle. There were large nutcrackers on display throughout the downtown area. It was lots of fun to see all the nutcrackers decorated in so many different ways. There was also a carosel there that we rode on. David loved it!

Wednesday night we were at Bellevue Square for their Christmas celebration called Snowflake Lane. One street of the square is decorated and becomes a "parade" route for the live toy drummers that come out every night. They march out with their toy tamborine players and play on on platforms and the tamborine players dance around. Snow (tiny bubbles) fall from the sky. It is definately a favorite site when in Washington for Christmas.
