This morning we had popover pancakes or German pancakes. All previous times that I have had German pancakes I have thought, "these are okay, not my favorite". Well now that I have been introduced to making them in muffin tins I think they are great. You get a nice little cup to put all of your fillings into. We of course had berries and whipped cream on top of our pancakes. Fruit and whip cream always come before syrup or sugar or other toppings. David really likes to call them 'cakes'. I love having pancakes this way, it was so much fun!

they really were delicious, i'm really excited to have them again sometime. sariah, if you have the stone muffin pan you don't even need to grease it, the butter does a pretty good job!
Yeah, I have the stone muffin pan...I really need to use it more often. If I can manage to not ruin the pancakes and if Atticus and John will eat them, my muffin pan might get used more regularly!
