This is the cougar/mountain lion/puma/whatever else it is called at the Cougar Mountain Zoo. CMZ is just on the other side of the mountain from Dustin's parents house. We were able to hear the zoo keeper talk about this big cat. I learned some things that I didn't know before.
1. Cougars are the largest of the purring cats
2. A cat that can purr cannot roar and a cat that can roar cannot purr.
3. Cougars have incredible jumping capabilites.
4. Don't ever run from a cougar, you cannot outrun it!
5. Cougars have a chase instinct meaning that if they see something running they need to chase it no matter what it is.
