Fall Washington Trip

David and I took our annual fall Washington trip mid- August thru the beginning of September. We started our trip a little differently this time by driving to Washington with Dustin's mom. The drive took a few days and we were able to see some interesting things along the way. These pictures are in reverse chronological order so start at the bottom and move your way up. First in Casper, Wyoming we stopped at the last penitentary with a gas chamber. The whole things was a little creepy but we did get to see a horned owl perched up by the roof.
Next in Twin Falls, Idaho we payed a visit to the Shoshone Falls. They were amazing!
Our last stop on the drive was Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in Baker City , Oregon. It was cool to see the wagons and the picture without David is one of the original wagons that made the trek, the others were all replicas.
While in Washington we found something interesting - a horse crossed with a zebra. A Zorse was pretty cool to see. We were also able to ride the train in Snoqualmie/North Bend. David loved riding the train with his Grandpa, all of us girls had to sit separate from the boys.
