On July 2nd we boarded the Norweigan Star of the Norweigan Cruise Line. We left lovely Seattle, WA with Dustin's family. There were eight of us in all and yes, David and Matthew were included. We were headed on a week long vacation that would take to three cities in Alaska and one city in Canada.
This is our boat as seen docked in Ketchican, Alaska
Upon boarding the boat we were given a schedule of events for kids (broken down by age). David loved being able to participate in activities with kids his own age at Planet Kids. He really spent quite a bit of time up there whenever we were on the boat.
Sunday, July 3rd - day at sea
I had my first spin class of the cruise at 8am.
We were able to spend time exploring the boat and watching from the balcony of Dustin's parent's room. There was also a family activity of cupcake decorating. I took David to the activity since Dustin was in our room napping with Matthew.
David's frosting was snow and the gummy bears were playing in the snow.
David also enjoyed devouring the gummy bears from the snow.
David's perspective of the cruise while in the dining room decorating his cupcake.
