Starting Fresh

I realize that I haven't posted consistently in a very long time!

It's the beginning of a new year.  This year is a big adventure for us.  We will have a lot of changes.  I want you all to be updated on our goings on here.  I am going to be better about posting on the blog this year.  I am hoping to post each sunday.

Now in the interest of starting fresh.... I do not promise posts that were started and never finished from last year - if they happen great but don't get your hopes up.  Suffice it to say we had a crazy and busy year with lots of fun moments.  David took a vacation with Grandma Sharon for a couple of weeks.  As a family we went to Yellowstone with 3 other families whom we absolutely love.  It was a wonderful vacation, while action packed and fun to do, not entirely long enough for us to do everything we wanted to.  Dustin quit school and joined the army.  David started 1st grade and Matthew started a joy school preschool once a week.  Dustin's sister got married and we traveled to Washington to be a part of her special day.  I managed to get myself pregnant, with another boy, and now there will be 3 of them!!!!  We went to Rexburg for my brother's graduation from BYU-I.  He will now be joining the air force - we couldn't be more proud and more excited for him!  We had planned from the beginning of the year to spend this year's holidays at home and we did.  It was quite nice not having to travel for any major holidays and to start some of our own family traditions.  This was a first for us and will now probably be the norm.

So now we are on to more adventures.
In February Dustin will ship out for Basic Combat Training and will graduate in April.  Immediately upon graduation he will begin Advanced Individual Training and come home to us in June for a few days before heading back for Airborne School.  After that we move to someplace further away.  We are excited for this change in careers and a little nervous to be separated for such a long time, but we will get through just fine.  Dustin chose this time to leave so that David would be able to finish out the school year without having to move part way through.

February will also bring Matthew's 3rd birthday and I will start the HIPPY program with him. I did this with David and only have the stuff for the 3 year olds, but I think Matthew will enjoy it and we can go slower if he wants.  Maybe our new area of residence will do HIPPY. I sure hope so, it's such a good program.

In May baby boy #3 will arrive.  His name will be Benjamin Ray.  We will have just enough time to fit in my 6 week check up and his 2 month check up before we move and need to find new doctors.  Even though we didn't plan for this to happen this way, we are happy about it.  The boys are both excited to have another brother.  I don't know what I'll do with 3 of them!

In July we will most likely move.  Just in time for us to be able to get a little settled before David starts school again.  Here's to hoping the move goes smoothly.  We have already begun packing since I won't get much done after Benjamin arrives.  Depending on the location of our move we may be able to visit with friends and family along the way to our new home.  We'll just have to wait and see.

In November David will turn 8.  He is already so excited to turn 8 and to get baptized.  We talk about it quite a bit.  I love seeing how much he has changed as he has grown up and I'm sure this next year will not disappoint.

That's what we have to look forward to this year.  I'm sure much more will happen.  Here we go, 2013 is going to be a busy year full of adventure!
